Trendfinder Trading Systems

Choppy day led to small moderate losses in the 3 trading systems that traded today:

All of the stock indexes moved down today.  4 of the 5 systems traded today and they all had nice profitable winners.

No Trendfinder futures trading systems made trades today.

It was another week of very small intraday ranges and light trading.  Small losses for the week:

The market moved down a lot at the open but then traded in a very narrow range the rest of the day, which doesn’t give much opportunity to trade.  Another light day with only one trade triggered for a small win.

After the up move this morning the Russell 2000 just went sideways the rest of the day.  Only one trade was triggered and it ended with a very small loss.

After the sharp move down early this morning there was no follow through.  Today was another small range day – almost the smallest all year.  After 3 days of consolidation the odds are improving that we will have a nice trend day tomorrow…but might just have another low trading summer day.

No trades today for Trendfinder Trading Systems.  Tomorrow might be set up for a nice trending day with good follow-through, and if that happens we should have some nice winning trades – we will see!

This week had very few trades due to the FOMC meeting.  At least all the trades were winners! 🙂
