Trendfinder’s emini futures trading systems did not have any closed trades this week.

This is the second week in a row of no closed trades. It’s rare but does happen when volatility is extremely low. No movement = no edge for these systems. FOMC activity isn’t providing any edge either. As I said earlier this week, this low volatility/quiet market won’t last forever. I’ve found it’s best to not try to force trades when the market isn’t providing an edge. That said I am on the hunt for edges in this type of market since it would be nice to put capital to work as much as possible (when prudent of course!).

This low volatility/quiet market won’t last forever. I’ve found it’s best to not try to force trades when the market isn’t providing an edge.
