Trendfinder Trading Systems

It was a brutal day. SimpleSwing2 exited long trades for a loss. Three intraday systems had short trades that exited with losses.

Lion II Vol had a long trade.

It was mostly a sideways week for the stock market.

Spring ES had a long trade.

Trendfinder’s emini futures trading systems did not have any closed trades today.

Spring ES and Lion II Vol each had a short trade today.

Three intraday systems had a long trade today.

SimpleSwing2 exited a long trade in the RTY (Russell 2000) for a loss.

There were several day trades and one swing trade closed this week.

Results so far this month have been poor. Actually, results were nicely profitable until tariffs were increased. This action changed the market character. We are at an inflection point of volatility (as measured by VIX) – if it increases next week then day trading will be active, and if it decreases then day trading will stop and the systems will only be taking the occasional swing trade.
