There were just two closed trades this week. FedSwingWF exited a long trade, and SimpleSwing2 exited a short trade.
Weekly Results – week ending 10/18/19
Two intraday systems had a long trade on Tuesday. The market is now quiet enough that the intraday systems are dormant. Trading will likely be light until the next FOMC meeting or other event occurs.
Weekly Results – week ending 10/11/19
The news/tweet driven overly reactive market was not too kind these systems’ trades. It was a frustrating week where many trades were doing very well until a fast/sharp move in the opposite direction.

As has mostly been the case since February 2018, the intraday systems profited nicely in this market volatility and the swing systems suffered.
I’ve said it a few times, and I guess I’ll say it again, it certainly appears that this market is great for day trading and poor for swing trading. I highly recommend the Day Trader Portfolios over the Index Trader Portfolios for the foreseeable future.

Some long swing trades exited this week.
If volatility continues to increase, the daytrading systems will become active again next week.

Trendfinder’s emini futures trading systems did not have any closed trades this week.

There were just two trades this week. With the drop in volatility and FOMC meeting next week, there likely will be very few, if any, trades next week.
Weekly Results – week ending 9/6/19
Trading slowed down this week. Due to the decline in volatility, the intraday systems are going back to a dormant state. When volatility returns, they will be active again.
Weekly Results – week ending 8/30/19
Three intraday systems and one swing system had trades this week. FedSwingWF is now entering long trades since the Fed has changed policy, and its first trade since the change was a very nice winner.
