Trendfinder Trading Systems

Nice down day today allowed nice profits with every system that traded today.

No trade signals today. The Russell did have a possible breakout today – if so we should have some bigger ranges this week which could give us some nice winning days.

Trendfinder Trading Systems had no trades today.

All systems had moderate whipsaw losses today.

No follow through on the downside today led to two small losses.

Another small range day – no follow through one direction or the other led to 2 small wins and 1 loss for Trendfinder systems.

Trendfinder had no trade signals today or last Friday.  The smaller daily ranges continue.  Hopefully we start getting larger range days but the quieter markets may last all summer.

Trendfinder was 5 for 5 today trading the emini Russell 2000 index future.  It was another small range day so the profits were moderate.

An even smaller range today led to small losses for Trendfinder systems.

Small range day led to moderate losses across the board today with Trendfinder’s trading systems.  Trend following strategies do not typically perform well on choppy smaller range days.
