Volatile and choppy day. Trendfinder’s emini day trading systems did not have any trades today.
Daily Results for 5/6/10
Today is a day that will be logged into the history books (if you don’t know why I say that, look at today’s chart of any US stock index). These systems took early profits on the big down day, and then the floor completely fell out. For a while it looked like the systems should not have exited early, but prices ended up coming back up near the exits by the end of the day. The spike down appears to be due to human and or system errors, regardless there was definitely panic in the market today.
Back to the systems…Bobcat I and Bobcat II were stopped out of their short trades on a pullback, but the rest of the systems all had very nice profits.

Today started low, went up and then came back down. Every system that traded went short this afternoon, and Lion also went long this morning. Just a see-saw day that left Jaguar and Leopard near break-even and losses for Lion, Lion II and Tiger.
